Overview:
The Inchcape Stars Awards are an evening of celebration, honoring the many fantastic achievements of Inchcape’s colleagues who go above and beyond for their customers.
The event was a lively, fun-filled, glamorous evening brought to life by the XSEM team.
The Concept:
Everyone is a star at the Inchcape Stars Awards!
We set out to create an evening that not only honored the winners of the 5 award categories but made every nominee and guest feel like a shining star.
The evening had an old Hollywood theme, which was skilfully woven through the event touching every element from the pre-event communications and graphics, to event props, look-alikes and entertainment.
The Experience:
The experience began at the Hilton Garden Inn, Silverstone. Guests arrived to receive their Stars Awards branded room key and made their way to their rooms, many of which overlooked the iconic Silverstone racetrack. Guests crossed the iconic track start-line, by an elevated sky bridge, to access the fantastic venue.
On arrival, Inchcape’s colleagues took to the red carpet, surrounded by the flashing lights of our old-school Hollywood paparazzi. A Marilyn Monroe lookalike greeted guests at the drinks reception and posed for photo opportunities among the champagne towers, light-up ‘STARS’ lettering and giant movie camera props.
Our dinner and awards were hosted by former race car driver and Top Gear host Vicki Butler-Henderson, who skilfully managed the pace of the evening and interacted with guests throughout the night. Vicki's top-notch hosting was supported on stage by stunning motion graphics, displayed on 2 3mx3m LED screens. These were produced and managed on the night by our creative team to ensure that the evening flowed seamlessly.
The Stars Awards was bursting with entertainment, our fantastic live band and DJ brought a buzzing atmosphere and guests couldn’t resist hitting the dance floor. Competitions ran across our F1 VR simulator and roulette table with spot prizes being awarded to winners on the night.
Results:
Both Inchcape and their guests were over the moon with the event, blown away by the attention to detail and fantastic atmosphere created by our theming and creative.
Guests rated the overall experience an incredible 4.6/5.
